COVID-19 Important Update

VisionWest Home HealthCare services is an essential service. We will remain in operation throughout the COVID Alert Level 2.5 (Auckland) and Level 2 (regions outside of Auckland) period.

Service Reductions
During COVID Alert Level 3, the Ministry of Health directed us to reduce our services to essential services only. This has now been rescinded and normal services are being reinstated. This adjustment will take a while. If there is any change to your service, you will be contacted. If you are not contacted, your service will be continuing as usual.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
When visiting you, your Support Worker will use PPE in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations.

In the case of both Alert Level 2.5 and Alert Level 2 your Support Worker will wear a mask for personal care tasks only, or if physical distance cannot be maintained. There is no need for you, our clients, to wear a mask. During this time, transportation of clients is being discouraged. If transportation is essential, your Support Worker will advise you of the procedure.

Our staff are monitored and will not visit you if they are showing signs of any illness.

Vigilance against infection
Please contact us if you or someone in your house has:
• Returned from overseas in the last 14 days
• Feel sick or have COVID-19 symptoms
• Been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.
